Geological Chronicle
Fabricius is a lunar impact crater that is located within the northeast part of the walled plain named Janssen. The formation spans an official diameter of 78.9 kilometers.
Attached to the north-northwest rim is the slightly larger crater Metius. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-114.
