Geological Chronicle

Espin is a degraded lunar impact crater that lies on the far side of the Moon, just beyond the northeastern limb. The formation spans an official diameter of 70.01 kilometers.

It lies to the west-southwest of the larger crater Seyfert, and northwest of Deutsch. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-46.
