Geological Chronicle

Esnault-Pelterie is a lunar impact crater on the far side of the Moon, named after French rocketry and astronautics pioneer Robert Esnault-Pelterie. The formation spans an official diameter of 76.79 kilometers.

It is located in the northern hemisphere, to the south of the crater Carnot. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-34.
