Geological Chronicle
Ellison is a lunar impact crater that lies on the far side of the Moon from the Earth. The formation spans an official diameter of 36.99 kilometers.
It is located just beyond the northwest limb of the Moon, to the southwest of the large walled plain named Poczobutt. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-21.
