Geological Chronicle

Dunthorne is a small lunar impact crater that is located to the northwest of the small lunar mare called Palus Epidemiarum, in the southwest part of the Moon's near side. The formation spans an official diameter of 15.12 kilometers.

It was named after British astronomer Richard Dunthorne. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-93.
