Geological Chronicle

Dorsum Gast is a 65-kilometer-long wrinkle ridge located in Mare Serenitatis on the Moon. It lies at coordinates 24.3753°N, 8.7068°E within the Montes Apenninus (LAC-41) quadrangle.

In 1973, the feature was named after Paul Werner Gast, an American geochemist and geologist. Lunar Topographic Orthophotomaps LTO-41B3 and LTO-41C2 depict the northern and southern sections of the ridge.
