Dewar is a lunar impact crater that lies on the Moon's far side. The formation spans an official diameter of 46.31 kilometers.

Less than one crater diameter to the south-southwest is the crater Stratton. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-85.
