Geological Chronicle

Denning is a lunar impact crater that is located on the far side of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 44.18 kilometers.

It lies about midway between the craters Levi-Civita to the south and Marconi to the north-northeast. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-102.
