Geological Chronicle

De Vries is a lunar impact crater on the far side of the Moon relative to the Earth. The formation spans an official diameter of 57.51 kilometers.

It lies about midway between the craters Racah to the north-northwest and Orlov to the south-southeast. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-104.
