Geological Chronicle

D'Arrest is a lunar impact crater that is located in the lava-flooded region to the west of the Mare Tranquillitatis. The formation spans an official diameter of 29.67 kilometers.

It lies to the southeast of the crater Agrippa and northwest of Delambre. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-60.
