Burckhardt is a lunar impact crater that is located in the northeast part of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 54.36 kilometers.

It lies between the craters Geminus just to the north and Cleomedes to the south. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-44.
