Geological Chronicle
Blanchinus is a worn lunar impact crater in the rugged south-central highlands of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 59.9 kilometers.
Adjacent to its south is the crater Werner, and La Caille is attached to the northwest rim. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-95.
