Geological Chronicle
Beaumont is a basalt-flooded crater located on the southwestern shore of the Mare Nectaris on Earth's Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 50.69 kilometers.
English amateur astronomer Patrick Moore called this "an excellent example of a bay". It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-96.
