Geological Chronicle
Barringer is a lunar impact crater that is located on the southern hemisphere on the far side of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 66.89 kilometers.
It is attached to the north-northeastern rim of the walled basin named Apollo, and lies to the southeast of Plummer. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-105.
