Geological Chronicle
Alfraganus is a small, deep lunar impact crater that lies in the rugged highland region to the southwest of the Mare Tranquillitatis. The formation spans an official diameter of 20.52 kilometers.
Northwest of Alfraganus is the crater Delambre, and to the south is the irregular Zöllner. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-78.
