Al-Khwarizmi is a lunar impact crater located on the far side of the Moon. The formation spans an official diameter of 56.25 kilometers.
It lies to the southeast of the crater Moiseev, and northeast of Saenger. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-64.
The International Astronomical Union officially approves the crater name.
