Adams is a lunar impact crater that is located in the rugged southeastern section of the Moon, near the lunar limb. The formation spans an official diameter of 63.27 kilometers.

It lies just to the southwest of the crater Legendre. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-98.
