Geological Chronicle

Acosta is a small lunar impact crater located just to the north of the prominent crater Langrenus, near the east edge of Mare Fecunditatis. The formation spans an official diameter of 13.06 kilometers.

To the west are the trio of Atwood, Naonobu, and Bilharz. It is recorded in the IAU Gazetteer under quadrangle LAC-80.
